Welcome to your own TimeMoto Cloud! This article will guide you through the Onboarding procedure. During this process, you enter basic information in your Cloud account so that you can get started with your time and attendance management.


Let's go through it step by step!

1. Welcome to TimeMoto!

First, you see the Welcome Screen of the Onboarding containing a short introduction to the Cloud and the procedure following. Click on the green button: "Start setup" to initiate the Onboarding.

2. Regional Information

In the next step, you can adjust the regional information for your Cloud account. These settings include:

  • Language
  • Time zone
  • Date format
  • First day of the week
  • Time format (24 hours/12 hours)
  • Standard Currency

After you have entered the information, click on the "Next" button to continue.

Forgot something or made a mistake? Do not worry! You can always change your settings in your Cloud by clicking on the cogwheel in the top right dropdown menu and then choosing the option [General information] on the left side.

3. Setting up Your Company Information

Now it's time to tell us more about your company. On this page, enter the requested information about your company, such as the name of your company, company type, primary email address, phone number (optional), and your address.

The primary email address is our most important means of contacting you. We send you important information about your Cloud (for example, when your license is about to expire) to that email address.

When you are finished, click on the "Next" button to continue.

Just like the regional information, you can change these settings later in your Cloud by clicking on the cogwheel in the top right dropdown menu and then choosing the option [General information] on the left side.

4. Adding Your Time Clocks

Employees can clock their presence on a TimeMoto Clock. If you use these, you can now add them to your TimeMoto Cloud.

Click on "Add time clock" enter your clock's information

Click on "Add time clock" to add a TimeMoto Clock. Enter the clock's serial number, name, and location. You can also select a clock order.

Also, enter a Default PIN code. Supervisors can use the PIN code to access a clock's menu. Employees can use this PIN to identify themselves on the time clock (unless they set another PIN).

When you are finished, click "Next" to continue.

Good to know: You don't have to add your time clocks right away. Skip this step by clicking "Next" down below, if you would rather do it later on. If you want to gather more information, take a look at the support article about your Time Clock Settings.

5. Adding Your Departments

If your company operates in different departments, you can add departments in this step. Click on the button "Add department" and enter the name of the department, then click "Add this department." If you want to add more departments, click "Add Department" again and repeat this process.

When you are finished, click "Next" to continue.

You can add more departments or change your departments later in the Cloud. If you want to gather more information, take a look at the support article about your Department Settings.

You Are All Set!

Congratulations! You have finished setting up your TimeMoto Cloud. Click on "Start TimeMoto!" to get started with your brand new account.
