Note: Can't find this in your Cloud? This feature is available with the Essential or Plus Plan of TimeMoto Cloud. If you want to get the most out of your TimeMoto account, make sure to upgrade your plan to your needs!

Projects allow you to keep track of how much time employees spend working under specific tasks. In this article, you learn where to find projects and how to add new projects to TimeMoto Cloud.

Overview

You find the Projects page in the navigation under [Planning] > [Projects].

The list shows you all projects currently available. You can see their name, code, viewing privileges, and assigned colour. Use the search field on the top left to search for a specific project.

Want to remove a project? Click the trash can iconon the right to remove it.

Adding a project

Click "Add project" in the top-right corner to add a new project.

  1. Give your project a name and (optionally) a clear description.
  2. Enter a code. This code is used to make it easier to find the project in reports or when an employee wants to use the project on a TimeMoto device.
  3. Select a colour. Colours are used on the Planning page to make it visually easier to distinguish various projects. Click "Next" to proceed.
Adding the project information

Next, you can define the availability. This defines which employees can use the project and clock their attendance using it.

  • If you select "for everyone", every employee can use the project.
  • If you select "only for ...", you can decide which departments have access to this project. Only employees assigned to those departments can access it. You can limit access to one or multiple departments and their employees.
Click "Add" to save your new project.
