I received an email regarding my account inactivity. Why is that?

For data protection and practical reasons, TimeMoto flags Company Accounts that have been inactive for more than 30 days, and queues them up for deactivation. The same goes for paid subscriptions that have been expired for more than 30 days. 

If you receive an email about your account inactivity, this means you own a TimeMoto business account that hasn't registered any activity or has never been officially activated.

How do I know that I am the account owner?

You are the account owner if you can access the Account & Billing settings. If you do not have access to these settings in your current TimeMoto Cloud account, you are not the account owner.

I am not the account owner, but I still received this email. What does it mean?

If you are a regular user, unit supervisor or manager of your employer's TimeMoto system but not the main account owner of the Company Account, this can mean the following:

  • You accidentally activated a separate TimeMoto business account at some point without the intent of using it.
  • You accidentally signed up for TimeMoto as a separate business and have yet to activate it.

I never intended to be the owner of a separate Company Account. What should I do?

If you are not a main account owner and never intended to use TimeMoto with your own separate business, you can ignore that last email and let us do the clean-up for you.

I use TimeMoto to clock in and out but I do not own a business account. Will my login be deleted now?

If you fear we will remove your login from your employer's business account, you don't have to worry. TimeMoto will never delete single users unless your manager deletes the account intentionally.

I am the main account owner of this Company Account and fear losing it. What should I do?
