Pay reports are a type of report in TimeMoto Cloud. It shows the entire payment that an employee receives in a reported period. In this article we are going to check out the functionalities of the pay report and how you can manage and export reports.
General Layout
Like all reports the pay report can be filtered by report period. Once you choose a set pay period you can also lock the period. The main differences lie between the overview and daily view of the pay report.
Overview Mode
The overview deals only with the total of your employee's payout. In the columns, you can display the employee's:
- First and Last Name
- Employee Number
- Hourly Rate
- Total Hours (worked)
- Total Payout
Below this information you can see more detailed how many hours were paid with the basic hourly rate together with the base payout and how many hours are exceptionally paid together with the exceptional payout. There you will also see paid absences, such as vacation (holidays) or sick leave. To define exceptional hours, you have to create a Pay Template and assign it to the employee.
Daily View Mode
The daily view of the pay report gives you a more detailed report about the employees payment and pay categories. Other than the overview it contains not only the payment total, but also a thorough description about basic and exceptional payment per day.
Payment Info
If you don't want to disclose the payment information and show only the hours worked in each pay category, you can turn off the "Payment Info" switch next to the report filters.
Export Reports
Click on the button "Export" in the upper right to export and download your currently displayed pay report, currently available in the Excel format.
Manage Overtime
Exceptionally paid hours are usually working hours that are paid more than the contractual hourly rate. This can be Sunday work, night shifts, as well as overtime. It is important to make sure that exceptional work is paid and handled properly and according to your work contracts and labor law. you can determine in the pay report, how you want to manage overtime and other exceptionally worked hours.
You can choose between:
- Paying out the hours
