Time Clocks

You can manage your TimeMoto Clocks in your TimeMoto Cloud. You find the Time Clocks settings by opening the dropdown menu in the top right and clicking [Settings]. Then on the left side, select [Time Clocks].
On the Time Clocks page, you find all time clocks currently registered to your Cloud account. You see the name, assigned locations, and the serial number. A colored dot next to the name will tell you the connection status of the device (green = connected; red = not connected). If you hover your cursor over the dot, you can see the last time the clock was connected to your Cloud.
You can use the search field in the top left to search for a specific clock. Searches can be based on name, location or serial number.
Good to know: The Default PIN Code is the standard PIN code used to identify an employee at a TimeMoto Clock. It is assigned to all new employees unless it has been changed otherwise. A PIN can only contain numbers and has to be 4 to 8 digits long.
Adding a TimeMoto Clock
If you want to add a new time clock, click "Add time clock" in the top right of the screen.
A window appears where you can now enter all of your device's information.
- Enter the serial number. You find the serial number on the back of the TimeMoto Clock or the original packaging. (1)
- Give your time clock a name. This name should describe where the TimeMoto device is placed, like "Main Entrance" or "Cafeteria." (2)
- Assign a location to the TimeMoto Clock. Only employees assigned to the same location will be able to clock on that device. You can only assign one location to a time clock (but multiple clocks to one location). (3)
- Select the clocking sequence. The clocking sequence automatically suggests clocking actions on the time clock in a predefined order. For example, if an employee has already clocked in, the device will suggest that their next clocking action will clock them out. (4)
Click "Save" to add the new TimeMoto Clock to TimeMoto Cloud.
There is more to clocking sequences than described in this article. If you want to learn more about them, check out this article.
